Sydney born Berlin based Bass To Pain Converter forges a new addition for the Bassic Records library. A darkened craft based on part circumstance and part narrative, ‘Switch’ marks the first B2PC track written since the duo act went solo and relocated to Berlin. A switch in the structure of a musical artist, and a switch to a more traditional music structure - ABAB - for each consecutive drop - verse, chorus, verse, chorus. The powerful energy of ‘Switch’ is driven by waves of eery thrills formed through war drum percussion perks, distorted vocals and the obscure but perfected kick bass. The EP as a whole is a strong step forward for progressive bush techno, with B2PC and each remixing artist taking the concept and creating their own light. A vast spectrum of interpretation. Psychedelia, industrialism, aphotic atmosphere, deepened release of emotion, all portrayed in the stories of ‘Switch’ by Bass To Pain Converter, Ben Rama, Dylan Carroll and Luis M.
